We’re a small independent team based in Stony Stratford, just under an hour from Bedford, and we specialise in designing and fitting bespoke kitchens. Our work ranges from sleek, modern spaces to traditional handmade kitchens, and everything we do is tailored to you.
When people search for kitchen fitters in Bedford, what they often really want is someone who listens – someone who can take their ideas and turn them into a finished space that feels right. That’s what we’ve been doing for over 15 years.
We don’t just do design either – we manage the whole project. From the initial planning and layout advice through to installation and any extra building work needed, we’re with you every step.
Our clients often tell us how much they appreciate only needing to deal with one team throughout the process. We also offer a one-year health check after installation, to make sure everything is still working exactly as it should.

There are a lot of companies out there, but what we offer is something a bit more personal. We take on a limited number of projects at a time so we can give each one the attention it deserves, and we’ll always be honest and realistic with you about timelines and costs.
Whether you’re just starting to think about a new kitchen or ready to get going, we’d love to chat.

Take a look at some of our previous kitchen transformations.
Project - Light grey and Airforce Zola matte handleless
The client wanted a statement kitchen and had a clear vision in mind so here is what we did…
Two tone handleless kitchen with light grey and airforce zola matte doors. The Quartz worktop is Montclair.
Internal accessories chosen to make our clients life better - a space tower larder unit, pan drawers with internal cutlery drawers and internal bins. These are things that we put in as standard as we not only want to change your kitchen, but your lifestyle and how you move around your new space.
The lighting was all designed and arranged to suit our clients as we believe lighting is one of the single most important things to be considered in the home and especially the kitchen.

Project - Dust Grey and Oxidised copper
Modern with a twist. We took this shell of a room and transformed it into a unique and functional space for our clients.
We used matte dust grey doors with oxidised copper on the island - for that edgy and striking feature piece. The wood on the back and on the breakfast bar warms the area keeping the kitchen space feeling inviting.
We loved working on this urban project!

Project - Harborne Light grey
A complete kitchen transformation!! On first impressions; the kitchen before was dull, dark and very outdated with brown oak doors and a sparkly black worktop. They had no storage even though they had lots of units and were in need of a complete makeover.
At RS Kitchens - we gave them a kitchen design that they loved; it was bright and spacious, modern with a contemporary feel and had tonnes of storage space!
Here we have the Harborne door in Light grey with Quartz worktop in Blanco Ice. We have cleverly placed tall and base units to open up the window area and put in a space tower and plenty of pan drawers for an easier way of working and storing items. The island is the showstopper at over 3m long, however it doesn’t overpower the room - in fact it becomes the focal point and a place to sit with family and friends to socialise.

Project - Slate blue and cashmere handleless matte
An epic project that involved a wall coming down, a wall going up, a kitchen renovation and bespoke kitchen furniture being made! RS Kitchens can do it all!
Our customers came to us wanting to open up their kitchen and dining area for a larger socialising area. They wanted ‘industrial modern boutique’ and we feel that’s what we gave them.
We put in a wall of units for storage and to make it visually pleasing. We took the units away from the window wall as they were simply not needed and now makes the room feel so much bigger.
Here we have Zola Matt doors in Slate blue and Cashmere with a Quartz worktop in Blanco Statuario with our signature down stands to the island.
We also added reclaimed timber on the breakfast bar area painted with Danish Oil for that perfect rustic finish. We made the 8ft table specific to our customers requirements and their amazing bar was metal worked and has the same reclaimed timber - to ensure there is continuity between the areas.
They kept the wall that went up exposed - again to keep that rustic, pub, warm feel.

Project - Madison Light grey and dust grey
We loved creating this space! The kitchen was small, dark and needed majorly updating! We suggested taking two internal walls down between the kitchen and dining area to open up the space, creating a larger area to cook and socialise in. The shaker style doors are neutral in colour and keeps the traditional feel whilst also remaining new, fresh and modern.
Here we have Madison doors in light grey and dust grey, Quartz worktop in Blanco Cararra, Neff ovens and vented hob and of course a Quooker boiling water tap.
The customer was over the moon with their new space and we love the result too
